About the event

The Central Bank of The Bahamas has been collecting Bahamian art since 1984. That's not decor. That's a forty-year brand strategy, and a forty-year asset, hanging on the walls. It's in good company: UBS holds more than 30,000 works, JPMorgan Chase has collected since the 1950s, Deutsche Bank built one of the world's great collections of works on paper, and closer to home, the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago has been collecting since 1964.
A serious collection says who you are and what you value long before anyone reads your annual report. For the CEO and CFO, it's also a balance-sheet conversation: a tangible alternative asset that can hold and grow value, and diversify beyond the markets. We'll cover acquisition, valuation and stewardship, and why Caribbean work, in a market still taking shape, may be one of the smarter long-term holds on your books.
